In 2022, the tennis tournament in Granby became the National Bank Championships: a mixed event featuring a WTA 250 and an ATP Challenger.
Exclusively a Challenger event since its inaugural edition in 1993, the tournament in Granby will feature a WTA 250 competition for the very first time in 2022. Formerly known as the National Bank Cup, the women’s tournament was presented for 26 years in Québec and then leased to an American promotor. The women’s tennis event now returns to Canada from August 20 to 28, 2022, ahead of the US Open.
To reflect this major change, the tournament has been given a new name: the Granby National Bank Championships.
The Granby National Bank Championships will be held in compliance with public health guidelines to ensure everyone’s health and safety. More information will be released as the tournament approaches.
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or if you were in contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19, do not attend the National Bank Championships. If you have any questions about your tickets, contact the ticket office.
If the tournament is cancelled, postponed or presented at reduced capacity in compliance with government instructions, we will contact all ticket holders to provide them with information (reimbursement, credit, seat relocation, etc.).
The Granby National Bank Championships could never stand out among the tournaments in North America and around the world without the extraordinary support of its volunteers! We want to continue to grow our amazing team and are always looking for new people to join our committees.
